10 Tips to Survive the Downturn

- Be the best lawyer you can be
- Be respectful, conscientious, polite, and courteous to everybody
- Bill, baby, bill
- Don’t be a downer
- Stay away from troublemakers
- Become an expert
- Develop and maintain client relationships
- Get involved in firm activities
- Obtain some business for the firm
- Look for another job, but be smart
